While you are all no doubt getting excited for WordCamp Cape Town 2015 (I know I am!), this is a brief interlude to introduce you all to a great new channel of communication that we have opened up to the WordPress community all across South Africa:
The WordPress South Africa Slack Channel
Slack is a great tool for communicating with your team or community and generally staying in touch (find out more here), so we have decided to use it as a platform to help everyone in South Africa who loves WordPress have one central place to hang out and get to know each other.
There are 2 ways to join:

- If you are already part of the WordPress Slack channel then simply create an account here using your @chat.wordpress.org email address (if you are not already a part of the WordPress Slack then I highly recommend you sign up here).
This is open to everyone in the country and promises to be a great way for us to keep in touch, get to know each other, and discuss all things WordPress.
