Announcing a community Slack channel

While you are all no doubt getting excited for WordCamp Cape Town 2015 (I know I am!), this is a brief interlude to introduce you all to a great new channel of communication that we have opened up to the WordPress community all across South Africa:

The WordPress South Africa Slack Channel

Slack is a great tool for communicating with your team or community and generally staying in touch (find out more here), so we have decided to use it as a platform to help everyone in South Africa who loves WordPress have one central place to hang out and get to know each other.

There are 2 ways to join:

1. Fill in your email address here to receive an invite in your inbox.
2. If you are already part of the WordPress Slack channel then simply create an account here using your @chat.wordpress.org email address (if you are not already a part of the WordPress Slack then I highly recommend you sign up here).

This is open to everyone in the country and promises to be a great way for us to keep in touch, get to know each other, and discuss all things WordPress.
